Chessnut Pro - Full sized wooden Electronic Chess Set with Regular chess pieces

Let me start by saying the board and pieces are beautiful and the board works great. Very happy to have it in my collection

The chessboard is excellent and has met most of my expectations. The wood quality is very good, and the pieces are well crafted, even though they are not the PRO version.

That said, there is still room for improvement on the software side. The compatible apps could benefit from features such as the ability to add annotations and comments to games, as well as a more personalized AI that can generate training programs based on a player’s own games.

Additionally, I would suggest including board coordinates (letters and numbers) along the edges. This could be implemented with optional LED lighting that users can turn on or off. It would be especially useful for training exercises and overall usability.

Love it. Has a great look and feel. It is very intuitive to play on the app. The LEDs are bright and easy to see however based on the fact that there is only one LED on the corner of each square sometimes you run into situations where it’s hard to see both LEDs.

It would be really nice if they would come out with a 2.0 version that has a square similar to the chestnut Evo as opposed to the little LED dots. It would also be nice if they had a couple other variations of pieces available. I am considering having a custom set made out of tungsten in the near future.

Honestly thrilled with my purchase! A beautiful wooden chessboard in tournament size that sits proudly in my living room, with very discreet electronics. It really looks amazing!
Only downside: the apps for playing aren't very intuitive yet, hence my 4.5/5. We'll see how it goes with use.
Quick note for online play: plan for at least +3 to +5 seconds increment, as the reaction time and physically making the move consume the increment. But that has nothing to do with the board itself, it's just the reality of playing on a physical board.

Et bien voilà un échiquier qui tient ses promesses. En plus d'être un bel objet, la partie électronique du jeu est top. Pas de soucis d'appareillage. On peut jouer en ligne ou pas. L'appareil signale les déplacements, les coups interdits, la mise en échec et le mat via des diodes lumineuses et des bips sonores.
Parfait pour apprendre et se perfectionner.
