Shipping policy


Shipping

For customers in the US & EU:

  • Dispatch Location: We ship items directly from our local warehouses located in the US and the European Union.
  • Estimated Delivery: It usually takes around 3-5 working days to be delivered after dispatch.
  • Taxes & Duties: 

    US Orders: Shipping fees and taxes are covered. No extra charges upon delivery.

    EU Orders: Applicable VAT will be calculated and collected at checkout during payment. Since items ship from within the EU, you will not face any import duties or hidden handling fees upon delivery.

 

For customers in the other regions except the US & EU:

  • We send the items to you from our factory in China by express
  • It usually takes around 10-15 working days to deliver to you
  • Additional $39/$59 (depends on the actual fee) shipping fee needed
  • You will be responsible for customs fees, duties, VAT, import taxes, etc. Administered by your government. They are excluded from the shipping fees

 

 

Warranty

Replacing instead of repairing: 

All Chessnut chessboard products are backed by a limited warranty. Please note that we do not offer repair services. If a covered defect occurs within the warranty period, the affected product will be replaced with an equivalent new product.

  • European Union (EU): 2-year limited warranty and complimentary technical support.

  • Other Regions (including US): 1-year limited warranty.

In the case of a covered warranty defect, Chessnut will, at its discretion:
(A) Replace the product with an equivalent new product; or
(B) Provide a partial or full refund based on the product's depreciation and usage, in exchange for the return of the product.

To extend your coverage further, purchase this 2-year extended warranty service. Then your board will get a total of 3 years of free replacements. Does not include man-made or intentional damage
