Chessnut Move Carrying Case – Hard Shell Bag for Robotic Chessboard（Pre-order）

The case protects the board, pieces, and accessories well. It’s a pity there isn’t space for spare piece motors and the screwdriver—having everything together in one package would be ideal. It would also have been great if the case had a shoulder strap; the whole set is quite heavy, and for longer trips, carrying it only by the handles can be uncomfortable.

As for the build quality, it’s generally good, although mine had a section of the inner mesh covering the pieces that was unstitched, and one of the zippers broke. They’re not of exceptional quality.

Organized and fitting storage and transport. Good protection.

The case is quite nice. It has a place for just about everything. It fits the board and all the pieces. There is an open space in the center opposite of the board for the pieces charger. But no real place to put something in there like the spare bases, screwdriver or a charger. Anything else you put in there could fall out from its place and potentially damage the board surface. It would be nice if there was a zipper pouch or something similar to help contain whatever else you put in there. Other than that, it's a great case and very well made.

The pieces do not stay firmly in their pockets. They fly around when the case is moved. Not good, especially because they are robot pieces.

Unfortunately, the chess board does not really fit into the carrying case. It is hard to place the chessboard in the case without the risk of damaging the board.

The pieces generally fit but it is very tight, so that I am anxious that the pieces get damaged in the longrun. I used the original packaging for transport again
